Maginhawa Escapade, Part 1

Whoa. This is my first time doing a Food review post in this blog.Yesterday (August 16, 2015), my friends and I had finished the final wave of our midterms exams during the first semester. Of course, we decided to go to Maginhawa. Maginhawa street is a heaven for foodies, photographers, and adventurers who would like to taste something new. Something that you can't find in malls.

In order to get to Maginhawa by commuting with PUP Sta, Mesa as our starting point, first, ride a tricycle going to Pureza LRT Station, Then ride the LRT going to Anonas Station. Once you got down from Anonas Station, ride a jeep going to V,Luna and drop off to V.Luna extension, You can't miss it since it's an intersection with both SM Savemore and Jollibee in front of you. Then ride a tricycle going to Maginhawa. Of course, you must know which restaurant you guys are going to or else, you'll end up like us who walked for several minutes under scorching sun. Hahaha.

My friends first tried Caffera.

You can find it in Maginhawa St. corner Mahusay St. It's two-story building with a Japanese restaurant at the ground floor and Caffera at the second floor. When you enter the said building, you can find them at Room 204. Their door looks like this.

My friends and I HAD to wait outside since the room was small and there were three tables available. We basically have to take our drinks fast so we wouldn't be inconvenient to other customers also waiting outside. The ambiance was so good that my friends and I had fun taking photos of the place. Caffera is a photography-themed cafe, You could see lots of things inside related to photography like photos, cameras, and quotes.

(Thanks to Jessie  lol)
This is what I have ordered. Choco-damia, as they call it. It costs 140PHP. Staying true to their theme, they serve their beverages in Camera-lens tumblers.

The camera-shaped cookie is tasty too!

Rating: 4.5/5
The products are fits my tastes. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere of the place is good. And I really love how they stick with their theme. Although, I hope they could expand so they could have more spaces for the customersor at least, imitate the style in Love Desserts wherein patrons have a 2-hr. limit to give way to new customers.

Till the next post!
